 Kettering Police offers many community-based programs, such as:

• Crime prevention surveys of buildings and facilities upon request
• Citizen’s Police Academy
• Talks on a variety of crime prevention topics
• Computer safety
• RAD--Rape Aggression Defense for women and children
• Safety Village for Kids--offered by the City’s Safety Section involving KPD and KFD with the purpose of teaching safety lessons to young children
• Stranger safety presentations to school children
• Cops and Kids camp held annually each summer
