Clay Township K9 drug program began in June 1996 solely on donations and fundraisers from businesses, organizations and citizens. The Traffic Drug Enforcement Unit (TDEU) was off icially put into service in November 1996 after Tori and her handler successfully completed the required 320-hour training program. The TDEU team received the 1999 Officer(s) of the Year Award from the Brookville Optimist Club.
